One Summer Season

This is an homage to my hometown of The Dalles, Oregon, and my love of baseball. R.W. Clay, a high school star, must choose between playing college ball and entering the pros. Does he leave the love of his life behind? Does he opt for money over education? Does he select possible fame over helping run the family's wheat ranch? He also has a legacy to defend. R.W. stands for Roberto Walker, the first two names of Roberto Clemente, one of the greatest players ever. That name was his father's choice. (Hint: It's a potential burden to place on your son.)
